5 Must-Have Summer Shades Under $50

Lately I’ve been finding some awesome sunglasses in season during my online shopping chillaxing time. It’s always tough to find classic shades at an affordable price since most either don’t last or are a bit too, well, ridiculous looking. During my search for some new classic shades this summer I’ve stumbled on some really amazing finds that have something for every type of style. I’ve included some of my favorites here that embody various looks and even offer that timeless, chic look all for under $50!

Take a peek and let me know which ones you’re digging!

H&M Beige Shades ($8)

You really can’t beat a pair of elegant, cream sunglasses for $8 – especially when they’re from H&M! I’m loving the classic frame shape since it offers an oversized look without giving you that bug-eyed look. While these glasses might not last ages, they’ll take any minimalist or simplistic look up that extra notch.

ASOS Fine Frame Cat Eye Sunglasses ($19)

Love, love, love the cat eye shade offering this summer season! They feature a slim frame, which is flattering on almost any shaped face. Also, they look freaking cool. I mean, how can you not want these edgy yet classic shades in your collection? Edge a neutral look up a touch or wear these with your favorite retro ensemble!

ASOS Classic Retro Shades ($19)

Words can’t express how much I love this style frame. They let your eyebrows show while also highlighting the cheekbones. They’re the perfect shape for wide or slim face shapes! Avoid paying loads for those name-brand Ray Ban Wayfarers and opt for these instead.

ASOS Round Shades With Corner Detail

Ok, so these were just too awesome to pass up. I absolutely love that round shade shapes have come back in season since, for me, they always harken back to the 30’s or 40’s era. While ASOS has this shape in various looks, – including tamer colors – I just had to include these in the list because they add that extra punch of fun to, say, a cream tunic dress look or a pair of classic jeans and white tee combo!

Zara Resin Frame Black Shades ($40)

Of course we can’t ignore this timeless shape, especially if it’s a shade from one of my favorite stores – Zara! I’m loving this shape for daring outfits that don’t want accessories to distract from an otherwise striking ensemble. Or, if you’re feeling chill, pair these with your favorite pair of black jeans and t-shirt (*maybe throw on a red lip*) and you’re good to go!

What shape and style shade are you liking this summer?

We received our sunglasses from ASOS and were VERY impressed with the quality of them. They are high quality sunglasses and have some weight to them (at least the ones we bought), without being too heavy. I bought a pair that look similar to Ray Ban Clubmaster sunglasses, and other than the Ray Ban name, I couldn’t tell the difference. Thanks for the info on where to get inexpensive, quality sunglasses. I will use them again if I need any type of glasses that aren’t prescription.

Yay! I love ASOS. They have awesome deals on really high quality products and they clearance a lot of upscale clothes so that we mere mortals can afford them. 🙂 I’m so glad you like your glasses!

Well, thanks a lot Amanda. After reading your post about sunglasses, Susie and I went on the ASOS site and spent $104 on 5 pairs of sunglasses. Great deals and there are tons of choices under $50. I could never understand why people spend hundreds of dollars on one pair of sunglasses. That’s just me though. Thanks for the tips and I love your blog.
